We have ministered in Florida's Detention Centers for over 47 years. Youth Rehabs, Sheriff's Ranches, Youth Groups, Scared Straight, and Youth Awareness Programs. We want to keep kids out of prison. It's easier to reach them as a child rather than when they are an adult. We are always blessed beyond measure when we visit any of Florida's Sheriff's Youth Ranches working with them now over 30 years. These children range between the ages of 3-18. We take goodie bags to the ranches and villas with items donated by the local community and churches. Small fun items, along with snacks and candies. Kids love to have their very own snack stash. We also take in children's books, crayons, coloring books, educational, and school supplies to be shared in the recreation-common room. To see the big smiles that come over their faces is priceless. It's something little, but you never know the impact that it can make. So, from their little hearts to yours, we want to thank you! Thank you for helping to make their day so special, to feel that they are loved and that someone cares! You are a Blessing! Health & Safety Guidelines Accepting New Items For Donation, Not Used, Please. During the holidays, we often get many generous offers to donate gently used clothing, furniture and toys. To protect the health and safety of our children and their families, our volunteers and staff, we are not accepting any donations of this nature at this time. Many children enter foster care with little more than the clothes on their backs. A Gift Bag an Easter Basket or a Stocking Stuffer Bag gives a child something to call their own while waiting for a placement or in residential care. For over 30 years we've given abused and neglected children a book, a toy, personal hygiene items and a little love in their own love bag. Consider putting together a bag or two for a children in need. The lists below are some ideas to get your started on your Love Gifts. You should include what you feel is best. For Older Children and Teens
We partner with individuals as well as corporate, civic and religious organization volunteers to support vulnerable children through donation drives. Volunteers have hosted donation drives to collect holiday gifts, winter coats, hats and gloves, art supplies for therapy, school supplies and so much more. Learn more. |
